Description
Another GREAT Value in a Mil-Spec Trigger. Smooth, Consistent and Reliable.
If you like a traditional AR trigger, then you're going to love this one. We think these are the best of the breed, among the finest entry-level triggers available. These are "mil-spec" style, single-stage triggers with one critical upgrade: a smooth, Nickel Teflon finish on the hammer and trigger that results in an exceptionally smooth single-stage pull. The same as our curved Mil-Spec+ Trigger with the exception of a flat trigger shoe.
This trigger assembly is designed to fit any mil-spec, semi-auto AR-15 (and many AR-10 variants) lower receiver and includes the following components:
- Trigger
- Hammer
- Semi-auto disconnector
- Trigger, hammer & disconnector springs
- Trigger and hammer pins
Manufactured by Schmid Tool, a premier manufacturer of AR small parts for the military and commercial markets.
*Trigger pull is approximately 5.5lbs with included springs and proper lubrication.

BEST TRIGGER FOR THE MONEY!
Trigger is smooth, positive and loud reset, and not as heavy as the stock milspec Trigger. I'd still drop in a JP reliability enhance Trigger spring just to lighten the Trigger though. But all in all. I am impressed. It feels like any other top dollar Trigger. Thanks arftac!

A superb trigger for the price. I used this in a GHM9 with the stock trigger pins. Works reliably, and the feel is quite good with the flat face and the crisp break. Would recommend!

For a duty or home defense rifle, there is no better option.
This trigger has all the safety and durability of a GI trigger, with the feel of a high-end trigger. This is the perfect upgrade for a rifle that might see real use outside of a range.

Excellent Trigger!
Just installed on an AR22. Used JP Enhanced Reliability Springs. Consistently measuring a 3.3 lb very clean crisp break (measuring the pull at the bottom of the shoe) There is no grit at all. There is an almost imperceptible amount of minute creep, a small amount of overtravel after the break (to be expected with a mil-spec trigger), and a very positive reset. I wish I would have found these a long time ago. Great job Arftac and Schmid! Very happy with this purchase not sure there is a better budget trigger. It's not as good as my Hiperfire, but hey it's not $200 either. I will be putting one of these in my in my AR9 too and recommending it to friends.

Smooth
Using this with the Mantis Blackbeard has been great. I have this combined with a KVP trigger spring kit and spent roughly 2 hours polishing the trigger to a mirror finish.
