Description

The BEST Value in a Mil-Spec Trigger. Smooth, Consistent and Reliable.

If you like a traditional AR trigger, then you're going to love this one. We think these are the best of the breed, among the finest entry-level triggers available. These are "mil-spec" style, single-stage triggers with one critical upgrade: a smooth, Nickel Teflon finish on the hammer and trigger that results in an exceptionally smooth single-stage pull. The picture of the sear above shows how the sear face will naturally wear with the hammer during break-in, making the pull even smoother over time.

This trigger assembly is designed to fit any mil-spec, semi-auto AR-15 (and many AR-10 variants) lower receiver and includes the following components:

  • Trigger
  • Hammer
  • Semi-auto disconnector
  • Trigger, hammer & disconnector springs
  • Trigger and hammer pins

Manufactured by Schmid Tool, a premier manufacturer of AR small parts for the military and commercial markets. We assemble and package this kit in OEM packaging and we stand behind this fire control unit. Retail Packaging available for a limited time.

*Trigger pull is approximately 5.5lbs with included springs and proper lubrication.

    Schmid Stage Trigger

These triggers are the best. I run the two stage as well. No complaints at all. Will continue to use on a regular bases. Great price and fast shipping. Overall experience 5 stars.

    Ebola Defeating Trigger

I kid you not, this trigger cured my family lineage from hereditary ebola. My entire village can now prosper off of our main export: fake reviews. I use this trigger in my M4 build. I really like it.

    BCM PNT who?

Without having a gauge, I am having difficulty differentiating this trigger vs BCM PNT except that the BCM is twice the price. Both are made by Schmid Tool, nibx coated and has the “s” stamping on both trigger and hammer. Prepare to degrease the parts as they came heavily lubricated from the manufacturer. Only recommendations that I have is for Arftac sell the jp enterprises springs as an upgrade option.

    Schmid Nickle Teflon Mil-Spec Trigger

This is the only trigger that I will install into an MSR, (Modular Sporting Rifle), otherwise referred to as an AR. Schmid Tools is a top tier parts manufacturer. If you have ever inspected a trigger and noticed an "S" stamped into both the Trigger and Hammer, then you have a Schmid. They can be found in but not restricted to.... Colt, LMT, Bravo Company, Daniel Defense and even Palmetto State Armory has some builds that include one. So, after all that, if you want a trigger that will ALWAYS make your stick go BOOM and far outlasts the life cycle of any other trigger on the market then you should buy this trigger. Just my honest opinion but I do suggest that you research Schmid Tools.

    Trigger

Its just ok for $50, but on sale its a decent trigger for the money, less creep than a standard mil-spec, more predictable break. Dont expect leaps and bounds over a standard parts kit trigger from say aero.

    Unbelievable

I don't know how they can make a trigger this good for $35. I'm done paying the "big name" trigger companies 3+ times the money.
