No question, LaRue Tactical is particular about accuracy. Everyone knows that one of the smartest improvements an AR-owner can do to their rifle is a precision trigger upgrade. Everyone also knows that LaRue Tactical has a track-record of doing things right. The LaRue MBT-2S was purposefully designed and manufactured to render the greatest benefits from a legendary line of accurate rifles. The MBT-2S can also replace the stock trigger on any mil-spec AR10/AR15 lower receiver.
Sparing no expense, all major components are precision-machined from S7 Tool Steel. The result of this extra effort is a glass-smooth, hyper-consistent trigger that will satisfy even the most scrupulous competition shooter, but also be overly rugged for the battlefield. The MBT-2S breaks crisply at 4.5 lbs (2.5 lb first stage, 2 lb second stage) and has a smooth and positive reset. Each trigger comes with an additional "heavy" trigger spring that increases the pull weight to 6 lbs.

Once again extremely happy
Wanted to try a flat style because I loved the curved one I got from here previously so much. Trigger has a nice smooth travel until it hits that wall and has a wonderfully crisp break and reset. You won't be disappointed in this trigger and the performance it can bring you.

First time buyer
Purchased the MBT-2S from Arftac as a first time buyer to avoid longer shipping times from the manufacturer. Arftac is also a local small business who also happens to support a fantastic charity. Shipping was fast, customer service was excellent, product as described and they sent my pups treats! What’s not to love? Will buy from them again.

Fantastic trigger for the price
If you're looking for a good two-stage trigger and not looking to break the bank, I believe this is the way to go. I've gotten to test some of Geissele's triggers, and while they are nice, I've found that their performance for the price enters diminishing return territory, relative to what LaRue offers. This is not to say Geissele does not offer some great products, but I don't feel comparable triggers warrant an extra $50 or so for what minor differences I felt. The trigger feels fine, and I don't notice any grit in taking up the initial slack. Very consistent. Very clean reset. Not too light of a trigger, so your final break feels deliberate. Good hard toolsteel. Just all around a no-frills, solid product worthy of addition to your kit.

One of, if not the best bang for you buck with regards to 2-stage triggers. Comparable to Geissele SSA-E with a clean take up (stage 1) and crisp break (stage 2) without the Geissele cost. Quick to ship and fast delivery by the team at Arftac. 10/10 would recommend

LaRue MBT trigger
Not my first LaRue and probably not my last. If you need a 2 stage trigger this is extremely comparable to an ssa-e but less than half the price. First time ordering through arftac, but i am 100% it will not be my last. Great communication, quick shipping, and they take care of my four legged friends. Thank you!

Great Trigger, Even Better Customer Service
Those are of us that have been in this community for a bit all know the MBT-2S is a great trigger. But most of us also know that ordering anything direct from Larue is SLOW. I found ArfTac on Reddit’s r/gundeals after seeing a sale on these triggers. I messaged ArfTac about stock status on this and they replied within a an hour. Then I ordered this trigger and it was shipped the next day. I suggest anyone wanting a Larue trigger use ArfTac. I agree with C_Does’ last YT video, this is a solid small business. I plan to continue using ArfTac when possible. I’d rather give My money to a company that cares over a giant big box seller.
